Planning permission and building regulations are not required if the following rule's are adhered to.

 

If the out building is within 1 meter of your properties boundary. Maximum height is 2.5 meter's and maximum floor area is 15 square meter's.

 

If the out building is within 2 meter's of your properties boundary. Maximum height is 2.5 meter's and maximum floor area is 30 square meter's.

 

If the out building is 2 or more meter's from your properties boundary. Maximum height is 3 meter's for flat roof, or 4 meter's for pitched roof. Maximum floor area is 30 square meter's.
